SAFETY CLASSES

Infant/Pediatric CPR and Safety - NMH
Learn CPR, anti-choking techniques and safety for newborns and children. Taught by American Heart Association certified instructors.
Saturdays; 10 am to 12:30 pm, or 1 to 3:30 pm
Thursdays; 6 to 8:30 pm
Fees: $25/person or $45/couple

American Red Cross of Greater Chicago 111 East Wacker Drive, Suite 200 (312) 729-6100 ext. 6132
www.redcross.org/il/chicago All classes at the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago are taught by certified instructors. Find "Adult, Child, Infant CPR," as well as "Child Care First Aid." Both courses meet Illinois day care licensing requirements. Upon successful course completion, a certificate is awarded. You can download a class schedule and registration forms from the web site.

Mercy Hospital and Medical Center

Offers an infant CPR class for parents, grandparents or caregivers. Teaches CPR through use of CPR dolls. Classes also offered in Spanish.

Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center Women's and Children's Hospital

The CPR class for infants and children teaches basics of CPR, choking hazards and safety tips.
